The Panerai Luminor Submersible PAM01324 is a limited edition of 162 pieces created in collaboration with the Navy Seals. This watch has a 'Carbotech' case and bezel, paired with a brushed titanium case back. This watch is powered by caliber P.9010/GMT.Our next review is of the version from the VS factory, the best of all do Panerai fake watches.
This watch is 44mm in diameter and looks like a carbon fiber case, but is, in fact, made of ceramic. The weight will also be much more medium than the carbon fiber one.
The whole watch looks like the VS version is pretty close to the real thing. Both the color and pattern of the bezel, as well as the dial pattern, look like an authentic one. However, there are still two places that can be upgraded and improved, one is the pearl dot at 12 o'clock, and the color of the hour markers. The VS's looks like ceramic pure white, while the original version is semi-transparent, which is more crystal clear and has a sense of texture.
Looking closely at the numbers for the date, the original is bigger and almost flush with the window in height, but the number 3 in the VS appears to be a little smaller.
The genuine picture on the left looks darker yellow, but it's actually the same, that's because the VS's are photographed in brighter light, so they look brighter and lighter yellow.
Looking at the case comparison, the VS is a bit lighter in color.
Compare the back cover. The back cover pattern looks exactly the same as the genuine one, and if I had to nitpick, the depth of the engraving on the VS seems to be a little bit shallower than the genuine one. As for the movement, the VS is powered by a clone of the P9000 caliber, which has a power reserve of about 60 hours, compared to the original's 72 hours. For theFor aFor a cloneFor a clone watchFor a clone watch. For a clone watch. For a clone watch that hasFor a clone watch, that's prettyPretty good for a clone watch.Pretty good for a clone watch.Pretty good for a clone watch.
This watch is priced at over $20,000 on the secondary market while the VS is just over $500, the price difference is huge, but the difference in quality doesn't seem very noticeable. If it were you, what would you choose?
